Dr. Gustavo Araújo Nunes is an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon based in Brasília, Brazil, with a special interest in minimally invasive foot surgery, ankle arthroscopy, and sports-related injuries.
He earned his MD and completed his orthopedic training in Brazil and completed his PhD (cum laude) at the University of Barcelona, Spain.
Dr. Nunes has completed advanced international fellowships and training programs in Europe and the United States, has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in leading international foot and ankle journals, and has received 7 scientific awards for his research.
He serves as an instructor and faculty member in international cadaveric courses across Latin America, the USA, and Europe, actively contributing to the education of surgeons in minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques.
