Andrew Hong is a Foot and Ankle surgeon and he heads the Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, National University Hospital, Singapore.
He is a dual fellowship-trained surgeon who enjoys all aspect of Foot and Ankle surgery with special interest in sporting injuries of the foot and ankle, reconstruction of foot and ankle deformities, complex lower limb trauma and degenerative conditions. He is also well trained in ankle arthroscopy, tendinoscopy, tendon disorders, MIS surgeries and management of ankle osteoarthritis with osteotomies and/or ankle replacements.
In addition, Andrew Hong strong believes in evidence-based Orthopaedics and has published more than 95 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts in the field of foot & ankle surgery and orthopaedic trauma. He has contributed and written a number of book chapters for foot and ankle textbooks. Besides, he is also very active in scholarly roles such as being the General Secretary for ESSKA Foot & Ankle Section, Associate Editor for KSSTA, Faculty and Board Member for MIFAS, Member of IFASC, Faculty for AO Trauma Singapore and Editorial Board Member for JOFAS.
